Prepare for the USMC with the IST / PFT Workout

Learn how to master the pullups or flexed arm hang, crunches, and 1.5 to 3 mile runs of the Initial Strength Test and the USMC Physical Fitness Test.

This is a TEN week training program that takes you through a five week plan for the IST and then you are ready for the final five weeks to prepare for the USMC PFT. There are other exercises and workouts that will help prepare you for the actual training days at Parris Island Bootcamp as well as these fitness tests.

Go to your basic military training in top shape so you can better learn your profession and not have the extra stress on you of failing fitness tests. Going to training unable to reach these recommended standards will make the days and nights longer and possible cause you injury leading to a repeat of the training cycle.
